Frida Boutros, Totten’s former Credit Manager is currently at the Lynwood Correctional Facility for women awaiting trial for embezzlement. The crime which was reported Dec. 1, 2006 finally found its way through the justice system and should reach a verdict in the next two months.
The embezzlement covered a four year period which also involved her husband and was a clever charade of credit card and check fraud. It is being tried in downtown Los Angeles due to the size of the theft. Ms Boutros has been charged with 5 felonies and faces prison time and restitution if convicted.
