Custom Services

At Totten Tubes we offer a unique variety of custom service options to meet your everyday custom tubing service needs. We provide you with all the necessary custom service options to fulfill your project requirement needs.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is a manufacturing process which can eliminate the need for machining on many engineering jobs, enabling you to save money on manufacturing costs. In addition, the superior edge quality produced by the laser frequently eliminates time-consuming post processing steps compared to conventional technologies.

At Totten Tubes we provide only the finest and most precise laser cutting options available. Our in-house laser cutting services will provide you with the exact cuts you need, when you need them.

Tube and Pipe Bending

There are several available options to properly bend a tube. However, certain tube bending techniques are better for some projects than others. For instance, heat induction is most commonly used for very large pipes. At Totten Tubes, we contact with a wide range of tube benders who use mandrels, presses and heat induction for tube and pipe bending.

Totten Tubes has access to a wide range of tube benders; whether you need intricate bending for very small tubes or precision bending for roller coaster track, Totten Tubes has got you covered.

Saw Cutting

Saw cutting is a fully automatic process and the most common method for cutting rod, bar, pipe, and tubing. This process is excellent for large-volume cutting. Some saws can handle extremely large product bundles. Saw cutting is a viable method for cutting a variety of shapes, such as squares, rectangles, channels, I beams, and extrusions.

Totten Tubes offers value-added saw cutting services so you can get the cuts you need without sacrificing time or efficiency. Our in-house cutting services are top-notch and an unbeatable value.

Galvanization

Galvanized steel is steel that has undergone chemical processing to make it corrosion resistant. It is coated with layers of zinc oxide which will provide it with a protective surface that can protect the metal from rusting and give it a more durable and scratch free finish. There are a few methods that can be used to create this product; the most popular is through hot-dipped galvanization. In this method, the galvanized steel is created from submerging the steel into melted zinc. This process allows the zinc to permanently bond to the metal, not only on the surface, but within the steel itself, making a secure and complete bond.

At Totten Tubes we provide complete galvanization options for your coated steel tubing and pipe needs. Our galvanization process will protect your steel from corrosion for decades to come.

Sandblasting

Sand blasting has several different benefits and it's by far the most common way of sanding and cleaning a metal surface. Sandblasting is properly suited for the removal of rust, metal cleaning and smoothing out of metal. Removing the rust on metal tubing and pipe is imperative because rust can severely damage surfaces. The main advantage of sandblasting is that it removes the rust from a metal structure, while also eliminating harmful surface contaminants.

Sandblasting is quick, cost-effective, and prepares steel surfaces for further processing. At Totten Tubes we understand sandblasting and the benefits it can provide for your metal pipe and tube surfaces.

Priming & Painting

The application of primers and paints over metal typically consists of a duplex coating system. The protective paint systems usually consist of primer, undercoat(s) and finish coats. Each coating ‘layer’ in any protective system has a specific function, and the different types are applied in a particular sequence.

Totten Tubes keeps an inventory of primed steel tubing. Primed material has many benefits including: reduced weld splatter, rust tolerance, reduced paint costs, and most importantly- less time wasted on preparing material for fabrication. Bare material can also be primed and painted locally in many colors for specific applications.
