Totten Tubes Philanthropy Focus 2025

Many of us at Totten Tubes know families who lost their homes in the Eaton Canyon fire in Altadena. Supporting these families as they rebuild has become the philanthropic focus of Totten Tubes for 2025.
Partnering with Habitat for Humanity
One of our key partners in this effort is Habitat for Humanity, whose mission is to assist low-income and under-insured families in rebuilding their homes. Habitat has set an ambitious goal: to help 150 families rebuild over the next five years. To streamline the process, they’ve created a 1,400-square-foot home design with four façade options that honor the historic character of the homes lost.A vital component to improving construction efficiency is the Simpson Strong-Tie EZ Frame Saw. Habitat has received a discounted quote of $204,000 (retail value: $300,000), but donor support is needed to make this purchase possible. This computer-guided saw minimizes material waste, ensures precise cuts, and significantly reduces framing time. It’s estimated to save approximately $8,000 per home.
Totten Tubes has Pledged $50,000 in Matching Donations
To support this important tool, Totten Tubes has pledged a $50,000 matching donation to encourage others to give. For example, if your company donates $5,000, we will match it—doubling the impact of your contribution.Below are links to recent news coverage highlighting Habitat’s efforts in Altadena, along with ways to contribute directly to the saw purchase. Gifts of any size are deeply appreciated.
