Habitat for Humanity Partnership

Partner with Habitat for Humanity and Totten Tubes
One of our key partners in this effort to help the famlies affected by the Altadena fires is Habitat for Humanity, whose mission is to assist low-income and under-insured families in rebuilding their homes. Habitat has set an ambitious goal: to help 150 families rebuild over the next five years. To streamline the process, they’ve created a 1,400-square-foot home design with four façade options that honor the historic character of the homes lost.A vital component to improving construction efficiency is the Simpson Strong-Tie EZ Frame Saw. Habitat has received a discounted quote of $204,000 (retail value: $300,000), but donor support is needed to make this purchase possible. This computer-guided saw minimizes material waste, ensures precise cuts, and significantly reduces framing time. It’s estimated to save approximately $8,000 per home.

UPDATE: $75,000 Was Raised for Habitat for Humanity This Summer!
Our fundraiser ended on July 31, 2025. Together, with our customers and vendor partners, we raised more than $75,000 to help Habitat for Humanity with the purchase of the Simpson Strong-Tie EZ Frame Saw. We were honored with the "Roof Raiser" award at "Raising the Roof: A Record-Breaking Gala Celebration" for Habitat for Humanity. Our Totten Tubes team is pictured here with Master of Ceremonies for the night, John Stamos.
